2008 Fall Horse Day Camp
Appalachian Equestrian Center is offering a week of Fall day camp for children ages 6 – 12 at all levels of riding. Our program is specifically structured to develop the best horsemanship skills in a safe, fun and educational manner. Our state of the art facility has been designed for maximum comfort and safety; including an indoor arena, outdoor ring for lessons and trail paths throughout the fields. We are staffed with highly qualified instructors and trainers.
Our campers gain experience in riding, handling, grooming, tack cleaning, basic horse anatomy, behavior and nutrition. Also they will interact closely with our farrier and veterinarian.
The Camp is from 9:00am to 3:00pm. Each camper needs to bring a lunch box, snack, drink or money for the Coke machine. We offer water and juice.
A maximum of 12 campers will be accepted. This allows for close personalized attention and supervision.
Dates: Oct. 13th - 17th & Oct. 20th - 24th
